About Time to Talk Day in the UK

DESCRIPTION:
Created in 2014, Time to Talk Day takes place on the first Thursday in February in the United Kingdom. Its purpose is breaking the silence surrounding mental health issues.
Mental health problems affect one in four people, yet the subject is often considered taboo. For people with mental health problems, not being able to talk about it can be one of the worst parts of the illness. By encouraging discussions on mental health, stereotypes are removed, relationships improve, and tools for recovery become accessible.
